Riddle me this, brides-to-be…how many phone calls do you get from friends, relatives, and in-laws giving their “advice” on how to go about planning your wedding? Probably just as many! Between the second your guy puts that engagement ring on your finger and the second you shut the hotel room door after the reception with a sigh of relief, you’ll get more advice then you could ever want. Some of it should probably be taken to heart, especially if it’s tips on how to save money or referrals to vendors from satisfied brides. Every bride is different and unique but one thing that unites us all is our desire to have our big day go off without a hitch. Some days planning a wedding can be fun. You bond with your closest girlfriends, you get to shop for the most amazing dress you will ever wear, you pick out wedding favors, place settings, and sample delicious foods and cakes. Other days are not so fun. You may want to rip your hair out when you get an unexpected bill, you may want to kill one of your vendors or even a family member, you might want to strangle one of your bridesmaids.

My name is Sarah Harris and I was in your shoes not too long ago. I decided to start Wedding Planning Advice to give brides a resource and help them find answers to their most pressing questions. During my planning I did a ton of research online to find the best deals and to read various blogs offering advice.
